Billie Jean // Fax Ex-Machina
"Four Brazilian Artists. Four UK Artists. Three fax machines. One exhibition." This live art exchange between Brazilian and UK artists takes place simultaneously in KK Outlet, London and POP Gallery, Sao Paulo. Select UK based artists including Billie Jean created and transmitted their pieces live to Brazil via Fax while the KK Outlet received incoming work - to highlight the high taxes and rigid customs laws that make importing physical art in and out of Brazil impractical. The live action happens on the 4th March and the results are on display until the 26th March.
